How Our Network Works

Who you talk to

When you reach out, you talk to a provider in our network. Each provider is an independent local business. Nonsubg Concrete is the link between you and them.

We do not list staff or crews, because we do not do the work. The people who pour, finish and clean up belong to the provider you choose.

What happens when you reach out

Request a callback to get started. You will be asked a few simple things:

• Your town
• The project: driveway or patio
• Rough size and what is there now
• When you hope to start

Then your request goes to a provider who may serve your area. They take it from there. Availability varies, so ask the provider about timing.

You can also send a request through the form. A provider can follow up with you.

What to ask a provider

You are hiring them, so ask plenty. Good questions include:

• Are you licensed and insured in Ohio? Can I see proof?
• How thick will the slab be, and what will the base be?
• How will you handle drainage and frost?
• Will you add control joints? These are planned cuts that guide where cracks form.
• What finish do you suggest? Broom, stamped, or something else?
• Is the quote in writing? What does it include?
• Who pulls the permit, if one is needed?
• How long will the concrete need to cure before I can drive or walk on it?

Write the answers down. If two providers give very different answers, ask why. A good provider will explain in plain words.

You are in control

Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can compare quotes. You can say no. Prices vary by job, so get a written quote before you agree to anything.

Take your time with the paperwork. Check that the scope, the materials and the finish are all listed. If something is missing, ask the provider to add it.
